On the other hand, I'm glad I got the Vette. I still wouldn't have gotten the Camaro yet (hasn't been delivered yet)

When it comes to performance cars like these you are best off washing at home with some car wash & then throwing a coat of wax on. Or at least wash the car yourself at the car-wash.

2007 with a solid top. It creaked but not all the time. I just did the reseat and it was fine. Hell I never drove it really so it was the garage queen.

So, the horse is dead. You know what to do. It has been said 10 times. Call police, file report, call Shell, call Insurance... CASE CLOSED.

In the future, wash your own car, and done cuss on here!

Wow, that sucks, I have been driving mine a month! It is very nice. Not quite the performer the Corvette was but its well rounded. Very nice on trips. Just got back from a 800 mile round trip. Very nice riding car and plenty of power for me. Not quiet the "pin you to the seat" feel of the Corvette and I only had an LS2.

could have just waited a day until the hose was back on. or drove farther to a wash bay where you can still do it yourself. i mean, you drive a camaro, you want to drive farther...its fun

I would file a claim with the car wash. Do not take thier first answer as it will be some minimum wage guy pointing at the disclaimer sign. At this point it is very important to keep your cool (NO F BOMBS). You have the right to take this all the way to a small claims court. There is a whole process for this that can be detailed if you PM me or jayzwife (shes in this type of work)

Bottom line, remain calm, be persistant, and get your baby fxixed.

Or just wait and wash it later... damn chill out. In the end you messed up. No one wants to hear that but whats done is done. We all feel bad for you that it did happen but there is nothing that can be done now. Take you licks on the chin and get it fixed. 99% of people on here are going to tell you a car wash is the WORST thing to do to your car.

Nice Vette

I just think it's crazy Camaro hasn't been delivered. I think it's a sign that the dang thing was never meant to be. I think the dealership may be in the red on their GM floor plan.

Word! I don't know what more we can say to do. Like the longer he waits to do the police report the less his chances are of getting their insurance to pay for it.

Why are people so scared to file police reports? Like it's a crime or something

better yet rig up a hose to your sick and run it down stairs to the car or you could have waited for it to rain and put the soap on there and then waited for it to rain again to wash it off lol.
