LS1-2-6, LS3 and LS7 all available together before SEMA this year.

One version of cathedral port.

3 versions of both LS3 and LS7.

Race versions for LS3 and LS7 8k rpm

The standard version of each will fit under hood of C5 and C6 Corvettes."
If true I'm stoked but I'll believe it when it happens...

To me 800 units means they are very, very serious.

Another post by the same person. I am all jazzed by the news.

"Patrick has been developing COPO manifolds for GM and finishing manifolds for all LS port designs while working through the challenges...so although the process has taken a long time he's been steadily working to get this finished and end up with the best product. We should be seeing marketing releases in 6-8 weeks or so as there are a number of units being tested now....some at Milford."

Once again I'll be happy if and when it happens but I've been excited so many times only to be disappointed that I'll believe it when I see it...

From the vette forum.....

Yes, we have components in house that are going through final phases of pre-production for assembly for some versions of our new manifolds . We are pushing to show them to the public just before SEMA . We will not be specific untill they are released , we have given our competition information each time we have tested or shown images in the past .We will not be doing that again untill they roll out to the public .
We also want to have product on the shelf to ship before we release pics, video, independent tests etc.. rather than tease our customers with something they cannot buy yet.

SEMA this year is from Nov. 1 to Nov. 4. So it looks like sometime in October for the initial release.

Bullshit.

They are going to "show" them to the public beforehand.

We've already "seen" them.

So we have patent approval lol...

I still want to know what all is involved in making that thing run. MAF, tuning (speed density?), air intake piping? It's definitely not a bolt and go...

Looks like it will take a lot of $ to get that going but it sure looks cool.Would like to see someone with TTs with that Edelbrock. By the way anyone know how much it weighs? thx

Honestly, the reason so many of us are still hanging around for the Vararam manifold is because it seems like it could be an all around answer. It could give us the benefits of an Ozmo, Nelson, Edelbrock dual TB manifold with the ease of set up and tuning that a FAST, Stock LS3 offers.

I can imagine there would be much difficulty it making it happen but man if they can and do...

All I can do is wait anyways... finances have been screwed lately so I'm in no huge hurry.

Adulting is a PITA sometimes...

One of my concerns with the Edelbrock intake manifold is all that aluminum. To me for a street car that is one big heat soak. I would think the IAT's would be up. I guess you could have it coated on the inside.

You would want a thermal barrier on the inside to cut down on the rate of heat transfer to the air passing by. On the outside there are coatings that help release the heat into the surrounding air. I have done this with highly modified all aluminum TPI intake systems with some success.

With the Vararam intake system I don't see that as an issue with the plastic. Plus the throttle body is in the stock position so you can use your existing cold air intake system.
