The p-zeros are fine in light rain. Haven't has any issues with them at all. Even on aggressive starts. I think with heavy rain, we'll have to drive a lot more conservatively. If there is snow, Im busing in to work. I was going to get another set of wheels with all-seasons, but I figure we really only get 2 weeks of serious snow, two or tree times a year. Not really work the 3k investment on rims and tires. That and the probability of some 'other' schmuck not knowing how to drive in the snow crashing into us, makes me want to keep my baby in the garage for 6 weeks a year...

It will be parked in my garage like my GTO use to be every winter. If you live where it snows and brought a camaro or any other high performance car without having a second car to drive then all I have to say is WTF were you thinking.

Just slightly north of where Teddydog is (Vancouver, BC) - and we tend to have a "bit" of a milder winter than Washington state (just a bit). Mine is going into the garage at the first hint of winter. Taking no chances. Plus salt doesn't do the car any extra favors. The small boulders that they put down on the road that they call sand is cause alone to put the baby into hibernation mode until spring arrives.

Ditto - we really only have maybe 8 days of snow total, and if it gets deeper than 3 inches the county-blades come out. I'm not to concerned about snow, salt, crazy people, or weather. It's a car and I'm in a small town of <30K, with a 1mile commute down the hill to work.

I've got some plans to carefully winterize the belly/frame/wheel wells next week when she comes in so I won't worry about the salt factor Kansas has.

Drive it like you stole it, or give it to someone else who will is my philosophy. ...And ain't nobody drivin my Camaro!!

I have a Tercel to drive every day. The Camaro will stay nice and dry all winter long. Ready for the first Springtime cruise. Unless we get a sunny day in January. LOL!

I bought mine to drive, everyday! Living in the Great Pacific Northwest I need to plan on some ice and snow with alot of rain. Today the Pirelli's come off and the Yokohama Paradas are going on. Why GM didn't offer an all season option with the 20's is beyond me! Do they think everyone is parking there cars when it's cold and or wet? The Yokohamas will offer at least three times the tread life at half the cost of the Pirellis.

Seeing as I am supposed to take delivery in December, I will be driving it through the winter.
