Question YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME...REALLY???

I put my 3 day old 2013 Cammie drop top in the shop for repairs on the top release latch...it won't lock! The service department called and informed me that there is currently a bulletin about latch issues and mines needs several parts replaced. Personally I think the whole setup sucks especially after out coming out of a Z4 BMW...but I just dig convertibles. I'm a female and my hand strength is not that great. I really struggled to get the top secure. The other night I stopped at a store and had to ask a total stranger to help me lock it #EMBARRASED. If there was an option to upgrade to any totally automatic system I would do so without thinking twice. Has anyone else had these issues other than asking strangers for help? Other than that the car is my first American made car and is pretty cool #NJOYDARIDE

My '04 BMW top was WAY more cool than the Camaro vert. But.... the Camaro has it beat on just about everything else.

I helped move the indy500 festival cars last year (2015s). We had the tops down on 100 cars to take some photos. We had to put the tops back up and they were a PiTA to latch. My 2012 latches so much easier. I know what you are speaking of

Nope, no photo shopping at all. We spent about 5 hrs that night setting them up. I hated looking at camaros at the end. You can buy posters on chevy mall. Pretty cool being a part of making that happen.

Not bad I took my time cleaned underneath, the rims and wheel wells.

it helps to have a second set of hands. My wife got home as I was on the second side. I pushed the bar in place and held the end link in place while she started the nut. Air tools help too.

When I got the car It only came with one key. The recalled key. So I like having two keys in case I lose one or the wife needs to go somewhere and I am not there. So I drove her to the 2nd closest (the closest were trying to charge me $135 for the key and another $45 to program it) and picked up a new one. Had my choice so I got the pre-recall. This place was $56 out the door with a free GPerformance parts catalog to boot!

I parked out front nest to the 2017 models. When I came out, there were two couples asking a salesman how much mine was!
