Well I passed on the deal. The car was missing the trofeo tires and had more cosmetic damage than I was confortable with. Would have had to at least replace the side skirts and front chin spoiler and that didn't account for the mitliple chips and dings on the body. Just not for me.

Bet that car was tracked!
Good luck but something to think about concerning rarity. Yes it normally adds value but sometimes it doesn't and can even hinder value. I believe non A/C cars will take a considerable hit long term even though they are more rare. Again good luck joining forces with one great Camaro!

Yeah it looked like tha car was rode hard and put away wet. You could be absolutely correct with non-ac cars. Never know what the future will want. W/ac is not a deal breaker for me but I know I can live w/o it and wouldn't mind the lower production numbers.

Unless the new Z/28 is like the current Z06, which is supercharged and 5ucks as a reliable track car. Then our Z/28's will go through the roof in price!

Himmy33, check out cars.com, there are many Z/28s on there from $47k up to MSRP. Yah, some dealers still asking original MSRP. But lots of low mile cars in the low to mid $50s to consider.

Captured Test Fleet. Chevrolet tests a certain number of cars before going hot on production cars. 69 CTF built in 2014 and 4 CTF built in 2015.

Ever thought of purchasing a car out of Canada? The USD to CAD is well in your favour and i know for a fact there are 2 Z/28s within 100 miles of me with very low mileage. 1200 miles (2014 White) and 500 miles (2015 Black).

The 2014 White would be close to $40,000 USD.

Just a thought.

don't believe everything you read. If they build it it won't have a 427...which is what purists wanted.

Agree, our Z cars will likely have the last large displacement V8 engines in production automobiles. Every time I drive my Z28 I'm back to the feel of a 60's muscle car and I've got a warranty!

I'm eagerly awaiting the 2018 Z/28. If that's a car that's coming...

Getting a car from Canada can be a big pain in the rear. I'm going through it now on a different car.
A/C is nice to have but to be honest I only used it once since having my Z. She only has 600 miles tho.
If going for rarity I'd focus on a 2014, prices seem a touch firmer, but I wouldn't buy this car for investment purposes. More than likely you'll be dead and gone before these cross auction blocks commanding more than you paid.
