Awesome. That was my second choice of color but I went with something different since my 1st Camaro was pretty close to that color. I just might have to buy me another Camaro now!

Wow, my car was shipped on 8/29 and has been sitting at the railyard in Indiantown, FL, 1 county south of my dealer (in Ft. Pierce), since 09/12 with no ETA available as of 09/14! I thought waiting for it to be built was hard! Anyone here in the same boat waiting for delivery in southeast Florida?

Dang it, mine unloaded from the train yesterday. Dealer said they had 3 trucks deliver cars to them but mine was not on any of them. Hope it's tomorrow and I hope the stripes were factory installed! Got all my paper work done so I'm ready.

Mine also started out saying delivery by truck on 8/28, then switched to delivery by train on 9/1. It hasn't had an update since then (two weeks now). It's still sitting in canada and isn't even on a train yet. From what I understand from the people on the tracking thread, the "method of delivery" (truck/train) is meaningless until it is actually listed as "in transit". Like I said, mine is getting stripes and I'm assuming that's what has been holding it up. I just wait for the daily update and hope for that magic railcar number! I'm not sure if my story is typical, or if most people with stripes are getting theirs faster. I just figured I'd warn you that you may be in for a long (but hopefully not too long) wait.

Nope. My stripe hell has gone on for 2 weeks now. It's still not even on a train yet. Hope yours gets fixed soon!

I was built on the 29th and didn't get on a train till the 9th. I have been on the broke train since the 10th and as of this morning still on a broken train! WTH!!!!

I had my dealer confirm yesterday, when I called him he told me any day, then I told him about the bad order message so he called the customer service center and pretty much confirmed what I already knew.

Here's to good luck today!!! Hope you make the train and mine gets fixed!!

Wow that does suck! Sorry to hear that Chic. Hang in there. I kind of know how you feel. Tracked the train all the way here last week. Finally gets here... last wednesday, has been sitting in the railyard since. I am beginning to think its some nightmare and its not really going to happen. Funny thing is I have almost come to terms with that fact. Even though the car is paid for, paperwork is done. How hard is it for a truck to move a car 13miles to the dealership... even my salesman is like, sorry bro I dont get it either...

Its all worth it when the call comes. Mine sat in the rail yard for a week before it finally showed up 8 days later. I know this is the hardest part.
