As we approach "The Big Day"

As we all anxiously wait for Monday to arrive, specifically 4PM, I thought it a good idea to reflect and think about all that's been involved in the return of the Camaro beforehand;

* First, a round of applause to Scott, John, Cheryl, and GM....for bringing back from "hiatus", our beloved Camaro. THANK YOU ALL

* Second, recall not too long ago, we all layed eyes upon one of the best, if not the best, concept cars of all time, the Concept Camaro. And we all waited to hear GM approve it for production. NOW, we're almost there folks. It's close to being in production, and the day we doubted if we'd ever see a new Camaro again is a worry no more.

* Finally, once Monday arrives, and we're all sitting by our PC's, watching the video, enjoy it andbe thankful. Yes, there will be something that someone will find fault with. There may be some disappointment. BUT REMEMBER THIS!!! GM brought back our beloved Camaro! Sure, it's OK to disagree, or find some small fault, and even experience a degree of disappointment. But don't lose sight over the fact that the Camaro is back!

Be thankful folks. Camaro is back!

Amen.

I just want to add...

this is BY FAR the greatest forum ive ever come across. I havent been here nearly as long as some of you, only since this past april, but i feel as if we've been through some great journey together and that journey is coming to an end.

I need to keep reminding myself, this is just the begining of a new journey!! i cant wait to see everyone's Camaros, and keep this going.

Thank you so much Scott and the rest of the Camaro team for being here to keep us going through all of this, it has been well worth it and the finished product appears to be everything we could ask for and more.

GM really hit a Grand Slam with this one, but then again, uve been telling us that all along.

I'll add...
Remember the car is still months away and things can still change. If Chevy announces a 6x widget on Monday, and when production comes its a 4n widget, don't get upset. Don't post how GM let us all down and its the end of the world. A lot can change, they may find that the 6x is too hard to install and slowing down the line, or its more expensive, or less reliable than planned. Even the pics we are seeing now aren't cars that have gone down the assembly line as ours will, these are still mostly hand assembled prototypes.

That said, I am ready to put in my order for a blue SS/RS 6 speed

I can't wait until this goes from a spyshot forum about what to expect
to a car forum where we are posting our camaros, sharing stories about beating 'stangs, talking about top of the line future models, and talking about mods and the best paint jobs
Ahhh can't wait
