You are the ass hole , some folks are not smart enough to look at a title and see or understanding the branding , all they want is the absolute cheapest price , they are called bottom feeders . Why don't you get a life moron ? I have owned, bought and sold more cars than you can imagine and have been doing title work for well over 20 years. I have never bought or sold a restored salvage vehicle and never will . I have forgot more about buying and selling cars and title work than you will ever know. Why don't you call me an asshole to my face coward ?

I would guess that car could or would possibly be only good for an all purpose track car.

I agree if anyone bought that to resell after cobbling it up, that the only person that would buy it thinking they can use it on the public road would be a cheap skate.. or AKA = a bottom feeder...

carry on!

As far as bottom feeder, I guess I would be one. Not so much a cheap skate as opposed to a disabled vet on a fixed income. Some can't just drop a ton of money on stuff. So i guess we are shit suckers

Ditto x 2 .

I'm not a vet, just a guy with tools, knowledge, some contacts in the repair business, and retired.
Right vehicle comes along, it gets done.

These cars are unibody , if the pan/ frame/structure has been bent bad and pulled straight they are no longer safe or as strong as the should be . Patching one up and selling it to be used on the road puts the new owner in danger if the vehicle is ever in another crash . The body shops that get these cars from an insurance auction and patch them together don't care about anything but making a fast buck . There is a reason it is a salvage vehicle, once it is repaired and inspected it is then a restored salvage vehicle . The inspection is a joke ,and everyone knows it. Bottom line is your life and the life of your family is worth more than the money you will save buying a wrecked/salvaged vehicle. If funds are low your better off buying a higher mileage vehicle . There are always people who do not understand this and get taken advantage of . And the term bottom feeder is used in the Auto biz and Real estate biz to describe someone who wants to purchase vehicles or property at a unrealistic low ball price. If someone wants to come to Phoenix and kick my ass have at it ,but come armed. Calling me names ain't going to get the job done. My comments were meant to prevent the original poster from being taken advantage of ,not everyone knows or understands exactly what restored salvage is .

It would make no sense to buy a wrecked salvage car for 14-20k and drop say 5-10k in, when you can just buy a non wrecked clean title car for 20-25k that is safe no matter what your income or budget is. Its referred to as buyer beware! If you were to buy a car like the one OP posted for track use only car to gut, mod etc...then clearly it would be worth it for that purpose only.

You can buy perfect body stripped cars in ca on copart, missing just engines and tranny usually. They sell for around 4-6k and you can buy engine tranny on ebay for 6-10. So for the same price, you have a never wrecked car that is safe to drive. The last one i did took a whopping 9 hours of labor to get up and running. The beauty of PNP!!!
