The two parts compliment each other very nicely. The intake manifold spacer will gain you zero PEAK hp or tq, all of its gains are specifically made below about 5200 rpms, power and torque where it is usable EVERY day. The ported intake manifold builds on that to give you additional hp and torque below 5200 and continues to deliver it above that all the way to redline, see Dyno graph below

The blue line is a bone stock 2014 1LT V6 automatic, the red line shows the same car with only the intake manifold spacer, and the top maroon line shows the same car with only the spacer and ported intake manifold, with no other mods.

That said, I am sold out of spacers at the moment, and I am currently waiting for material to show up so I can make the next batch, but you can get them from Overkill. I should have more material to make the next batch next week. As for the ported manifold, I have taken a break from doing core exchanges and I am only selling new ported intake manifolds outright. Ie: if you want a ported intake from me, I will order a new manifold, port it, and sell it to you. I make zero money off of the new intake manifold itself, you are more than welcome to send me your own intake manifold for me to modify, or pick one up from a junkyard or eBay. I only charge for the labor and materials.

Each manifold comes with a new gm intake gasket kit, and free shipping in the continental US. Spacers come with new oring gaskets, no RTV sealant needed, and appropriate new hardware. I include an engine cover stud mount spacer to raise the stud up but if you plan to run the factory engine cover you will need to order the gm p/n 92068813 oil filler extension which is about $10 from a local dealer and sometimes cheaper online.

Thank you for the great info. I'll let you know once I'm ready to do the mods.
Thanks

These engines are never going to have V8 torque numbers so I agree with Kenny Camaro; change the rear end gears to better multiply the torque that you do have.

First we need to know if you have a manual or automatic transmission? If you have a auto, is it a LS or LT?

A throttle controller will get the torque there quicker. I have a LLT, so not the same sorry. Maybe someone with the LFX can chime in about this mod. Worked for me, I have PTB, Spacer and the controller with a tune on engine and trans-A6.

That's a problem, as the LT models have no ring and pinion swap that will fit the carrier of the differential in the LT automatic rearend. You'll have to buy a SS rearend and axles and a driveshaft. Another advantage of swapping in the SS rearend is that auto diff is an open differential and the SS is a limited slip differential.

Is the Richmond gear change on the 2LS carrier a limted slip gear set?
