The hoses are right as long as the one from the valve cover goes into the "in" side of the can, I would think it would be marked or in the instructions.

Does the can come apart or is it one piece?

It LOOKS like it should. But when I had it off. I briefly tried to twist it open, no joy. It has a twist drain on the bottom that is kind of cheap and cheesy.

Thinking I should have invested that $90 into a "real" catch can. :-(

It's hard to say not knowing what's in the can. I made my own so it doesn't come apart but I know what's in it. One way you might be able to tell, depending what's in the can, if you gently blow into one of the hoses and put a finger near the drain, notice how much air comes out and how hard it is to blow through, then try the other one, the hose with the least resistance is most likely the outlet because there is no filter media on that side,

I will inspect it further when I take it back off. Just glad to know it is hooked up right. Thanks a lot!

You have to beat on your car a little to see just a bit. If you see a lot of oil in the can the engine has issues. |

Ok. I will admit to all Camaro owners, that, I am an IDIOT. After reading the other post going about catch can noise. I saw someone post about how the drain works. So, I go out, fire her up and put my hand under the can. It was sucking!. Turned it off, took the can off, and untwisted the drain plug, put it back on. No more sucking. LOL Sorry everyone. Sometimes it IS the simplest things

LOl. Drain cocks are odd, you would think that screwing it in would close it but they're typically opposite.

I could add "several" posts about experiences like that, but I won't.
