Yes, that is exactly what I have! That is the sound I am looking for. Of all the sound clips I have listened to, the Retro Chambered with the HF cats and Headers sounded the best. Can't wait to start installing this weekend pending the weather...

I had to remove 1 bolt, to separate the steering shaft to allow shorty headers some clearance. Super easy to do, if it's necessary.

I had to massage the heatshield to slip the headers in. Tight fit bug doable on my custom wood ramps.

I just went through this process two days ago on a 15 camaro ss..... I used race ramps for this one though. With the race ramps and weight on wheels you'll have to disconnect the steering shaft....its actually pretty easy as all it takes is a 11mm wrench or crows foot. Its a tight spot so it may be a bit of work but its a simple process.... remove bolt and pull the shaft/link up towards the steering wheel. Reconnect is pull down and onto the steering actuator and install bolt.

A couple months ago I did the same process on a '10 SS but used a lift.... it seemed to give a bit more space (don't ask why because I honestly don't know). Either way, its an easy task but if you have bigger hands it'll be a bit of work.

I did mine with weight on the tires. I didn't have to mess with the steering shaft or a heat shield. I have heard that the newer vehicles 12+ have a plastic cover on the steering shaft. This can be removed and left off.

hmmm, yeah IDK.....i had almost no space with the '15.... but the '10, I remember being able to get my whole hand in there from above and from below....idk.....i wouldn't think the power/electric actuator would make a difference...... or maybe i'm just thinking/remembering it wrong....i've been known to do that

Either way, it CAN be done with or without disconnecting steering.
