I put headers and full exhaust and tuned. I loved it. It was loud enough and it went pretty well. I drove for a month like that and put a cam in. I didn't get huge gains with the cam (about 25 hp,it was a mild cam with big lope) but I had massive gains in smiles. Mine is an M6, I would absolutely hate to be in stop and go with it. It's a trick to drive at first until you get used to it. I have also driven my friends G8 GXP auto that was cam'd. I'd absolutely drive that daily, it was a blast.

Put on my headers during the weekend. Loved the sound especially with my muffler mod(1le npp)...but my wife still said to cam it. She said the car was still missing something... Dropping the car off Wed..

Hahaha..well you can run a really mild and reliable cam too! That should do the trick and it will have the torq at low-mid range!

SHES GREAT!!!! Before I met her she had 2 built evos, and 2 bikes... when we started dating she she didnt have the cars bc of "adulting". 6 months in, we bought an evo 10, 8 months of ownership we traded that in for a c6z. 4 months after the c6z she gave me the idea to build the G8, then 2 months after the g8 got built, we built the c6z.. i knew I was going to marry her... and here we are 5 years in kicking ass and taking names.

Why don't you get Kip from Cammotion or Pat G spec one out for you? Really sounds like you need a custom unit, not a one size fits all.

OK, I can roll with that too! You want something "tried n tested".

Major contradiction here!

lol!

GPI SS3! Proven performance/power over and over, just search GPI SS3 here on the forum. That's the cam I want.
