You all know that you can run a real track day at CamaroFest VII.
We will be running three classifications at the NCM track in Bowling Green on July 13th.
From 8 to 5 you will get about all the track time you can handle.
Plus CamaroFest is alway a blast.

Opening Weekend really is a maybe that is more likely a NO the earlier it's held. I was only pointing out the good side of a day of crowds, lines, and less track fun. Still worth the drive if it's warm enough, but I get that if we don"t go as a club, then it's the general public lines.
We would definitely attend a club day at WG regardless!

Except there'll be four classes now, to help our beginners, and keep our quicker drivers happy. We've changed the plans a little bit...AND we've coordinated with Hooked on Driving for instructors and a quality program. It's going to be a blast!

But there's only 34 spots left for the track day, so if anybody wants in, you've got to sign up!

We can reserve a time on Saturday. You made valid points. I like the hype and that concessions are open as well. It all hinges on weather. Just makes me think the track doesn't really care about the car clubs by having it this early. Weather is likely no problem for mom & pops minivans and that's probably where they make most of their money for charity. If it turns out to be a freak 60-70 degree day anyone who wants to go has a spot. If it's just a few they will likely be lumped with another club, but that's better than going out with the tour buses. Another thing to consider is that the kart track may not be ready to open for us that early either. So it looks like we'll set up the main event at a later date but will also reserve a time Opening Weekend just in case a few of us decide to go then as well.

Nothing. Determining when to do a Watkins track run. Post 23882. A lot of us don't have FB. There is a club page but I don't know who, if anyone, runs it.

Use the "First New Post" button on the subscriptions page to not miss anything.
Facebook's feed is to random, you get sidetracked and miss a lot without a lot of effort. . Too much
