Low low quality

I purchased a 2015 v6 m6 Camaro with 7k miles about 6 months ago. I initially loved the car but soon realized how low quality it is. The engine burned so much oil, the rev hang during shifts was horrible, needed 91 gas to prevent knocking, the 6 speed was horrible and clunky. I can go on but good news is that I sold the car to carmax and lost only 1k. Anyone else feel the same way?

I do agree with the 6 speed being clunky. This is in comparison to my 5 speed 1998 Acura Integra GSR.

You went cheap and are complaining that it felt cheap. And you only paid ~$183/mo to drive an almost new car. Stfu

probably bought a car someone beat the crap out of, or it was a previous rental car.... endless possibilities over driving a new one off the lot...

So you buy a car with a lot of power and a transmission that can handle it and you are surprised it takes more effort to shift it?

Go for a ride in a fully loaded ready-mix truck and report back.
Your old acura would disappear in the drum, like Jimmy Hoffa.

With 7k miles it shouldn't have had any wear

That and even more so, the clack clack I hear when releasing the clutch at low speeds. It wasn't really a deal breaker when I test drove it. The car is awesome overall. I just wish I knew about the Hill Assist. Had I known about it in the test drive, I probably would have bought an L99. Because of this and the parking situation, I rarely drive my car in downtown SF.

I'm not a fan of the hill assist but I'll take the good with the bad. I expected to have to settle for an auto but was pleasantly surprised. Sure it feels notchy but I like it.

Replacing the Yaw sensor with the version used on the automatic Camaro is a very simple and cheap mod to remove hill start assist forever. This simple mod is well known and documented in the forum, plug-and-play:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=300649

Often see the replacement part, used, at real cheap prices.

The interior rattled. The exhaust shirlds were lose making it sound crappy. The steering wheel was whobbly over bumpy roads. The engine burned damn near 1 at every 1k miles which some same is "normal". Oh man that transmission 6 so manual was BAD. The rev hangs were horrible. The clutch would slip if launching at 3-4K RMP. Guys let me tell you - I didn't ever abuse the car and I'm 99% sure the owner before me did not either. This car IS lower quality in my opinion. Wow the transmission was bad bad and the rev hangs.....Don't buy the base model guys.
