The fav buttons did work like the wheel up and down on the 2011 wheel. The paddle shifters are Much nicer. I don't know if I tried the 4 arrows and select. I wasn't sure what they were for. The phone functions above the arrows also worked. I compared the pinouts of the old wheel to the new wheel with a meter before I installed it so I kinda had an idea it was going to work. I think I actually could have plugged the new wheel into the old clock spring but I would not have had heat. The new spring has 2 extra wires for the heat. |

How are your triggering the steering wheel heater to turn on? Is there a switch on the wheel? When/if I do this mod, I was thinking of activating the wheel heater when I turn on the seat heater.

That would be nice to connect it to the seat heater and have it come on via remote start but I'm just happy right now to get everything working. I taped into a "switch" fuse I don't remember the number, I just used a meter to find a switched one. My son has most of the pictures, hopefully I will see him tomorrow. |

If I could change my 2015 Z/28 steering wheel to a 6th Gen SS, I would in a heartbeat. I don't like the ugly gold chevy emblem in the middle of my steering wheel. I want to remove the emblem or paint it black but not sure how to go about it.
