2013 LT convertible here in AZ & the V6 is plenty for me at 323HP. I upgraged from 08 Stang V6 coupe with 270HP. So I'm good. I'm 5' 10" and also have another ride too.

Since you have the Silverado, I'd go convertible, especially since you say the Vert possibility keeps biting you. Here's me in mine....top down.

I own 2 Camaro's 14 2ss and a 99 Z28 2kids, wife and yes I own my home! My wife and kids urged me to get the LS3! Don't get on here and judge! You drive a V6 good for you. Don't knock us V8 guys because we opted for the beastly V8
