there's no rush, it's strictly an environmental thing. unless you need to pass smog soon or something. basically, your entire fuel system is sealed to prevent any vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. you have a very minor leak somewhere. wont affect the operation of your car in any way

They made you sign what???

You should go to your state's Registry of Motor Vehicles website and look for the advice page for car buyers. If CA is any thing like my state of Massachusetts, there's no such thing as buying a car "as is". If the car isn't inspectable, it's the seller's problem.

But if there's no such protection, it's on you for signing such an agreement. Why would you do that? I've never heard of a used car dealer that didn't have some however brief warrantee period, like 30 days at least! This sounds more like a private sale to me.

.
probably not. from what I understand, MA has the most consumer friendly laws when it comes to buying a vehicle.

I thought most fasteners on GM cars have been metric for about 40 years, I know that is all I have used on my 2012 Camaro.

a CEL could be from many things check the thing at the local auto parts store so you know where to look and clean the MAF And check what you can such as normal things for car with so much electronics...IE loose wires at coil pack connectors from wiring harness, loose MAF connection, loose tube from CAI, dirty this that etc... Good Luck. OOPS did not see the second page...Yup evap system is a problem on the v-6 read about it more than a few times.... Good Luck.
