Not recommended for your dealership's sake.

Like i mentioned, i'm well aware there are a few vehicles out there that these types of things are still options but it's sad to think these are not standard items across the board these days....crap, when did power equipment start showing up in cars..the 50's?

Nice to hear about the B4C. Maybe 1LE will also be an early option?

That's rediculous . I have no idea why it would be structured like that and not part of an option group, or just standard with a slightly higher base price. Do that many people want a car without A/C????? Havne't looked at the solstice/sky so i cant really comment one way or another but i am shocked those items are not standard.

Depends on what part of the country you are in. When I was in Southern Calif. most cars didn't come with A/C standard, because you just didn't need it. Even most condos and apartments didn't have A/C.Of course in South Texas I think everything comes with A/C standard cuz its hot even in the Winter!

I hope they dont offer A/C, power looks or windows ect. Offer it as a stripper package. I'm going for an all opt. car. But for those of us who only want to go fast deleting these options will be a good idea, at least I think so.

huh...maybe I'm naive about these things but being from MN where it's cold and crappy most of the year, i still couldn't imagine owning a car without A/C. In this day of modern conveniences, it seems almost like a consumer right to have A/C regardless of how much you would use it or not.

Maybe I'm more picky about what options are on my car than others but i wouldn't be upset or paranoid if i was living in San Diego and didn't need to use my air 90% of the time...having it there for that day when it's 105 out is priceless.

Highly doubtful...but you never know....if you know someone who can order fleet vehicles, they might be able to delete a lot of the standard equipment. NOt that they could legally give you the car or anything...

I agree what if you want travel somewhere its always depending where you live. I mean what if you live in a cold place but want to travel around to a warmer place. A/C should be standard

Has anybody heard or know of any aftermarket companies that are working on this car? They have to be out there! It wasn't long ago that we saw a camaro with a body kit. All I really REALLY need are the hideaway headlights. I never made a fuss about the headlights before because this was always my plan ever since I saw a artist rendition in HotRod magazine. I hope it is part of the RS/SS package but if not we need to start looking and contacting our sources (Fbod any guidance)? I heard Foose is working on one, any truth to this? Are the acc. going to be GMPerf. (factory or dealer inst.),or after market like the Corsa systems you can order and have dealer installed? Just thinking out loud here sorry guys. Oh and I'll be getting the auto as well. I had Paddles in my F430 and there is nothing like having both hands on the wheel as you down shift through a turn at 80+ to power out at over 100mph. It's safer with both hands on the wheel.
