If you lay down a big chunk of money to just meet your 900 hp goal then you will be laying down more money later when you decide to shoot for 1000 and then later even more when going for 1200, etc., you are probably beginning to get my point.

The nitrous guys have chirped in and yes you can go that route I am sure, but then the only time you actually have that HP at your disposal is when the bottle is full, warm, and open.

My advice would be to take a deep breath and enjoy the 720 rwhp while considering air supply options capable of delivering 1200-1300 rwhp whether you use it now or not. Once in place, your air supply will typically not be the weak link due to breakage. Just my opinion.

I am going to just enjoy the car for the summer and do some mild tweaks I am going to start looking at twin turbos or a monster supercharger but am in no hurry right now

Out of the crate rotating assembly. Had it in the car for over 4 years. It is at the the track at least 25 weekends per year.

I lost about 40 going from TR6060 to 4L80, then got over 100 back with the pulley and meth.

I would think the problem is the blower no? With the build you have/hp goal it seems very unusual that you would stick an LSA on top of it, that is at least what sticks out to me.

That's because the LS3 was the plan, it blew 30 minutes after it came off the dyno. Everything was built but I chose to stick with the las seeing I had just bought it. It will go at some point but for now I have a hard time buying another supercharger this soon

Not a bad approach. Save your bills for a bit and do lots of research.

My Maggie was at it's limit (800 rwhp) so I opted for the F-1X Procharger which is a mean sum beech, however I will only be loafing this blower at ~ 15 psi until I spring for an LSX.

If I later want to shoot for 1200+ HP then I will probably have to change injectors and possibly add another fuel pump but the blower is easily capable of delivering 35+ psi with just a pulley change. On my current set up even with the JRE Supertensioner I was having belt slip issues, but no more with the Procharger cog drive. Its going to sound like Mad Max rolling down the road, lol.

Yikes on e85 with that blower and that crazy low compression. Got some bad advice on this setup. I'd sell it and start over with a motor build for atleast and 10.5:1 or more and get a big pd blower if you like that style or something like a F1A-94.

This is the argument that the OLE adm LSA kit looks so appealing at first then you want more more more.. and that 3500 up front turns into 7k plus down the line when you could've just bought the TT or whipple.. not beating up on ADM just he sell them and a lot people promote them.. its great for just bolting on and saying I have a blower!

A lot of people don't factor the added expense of trying to make 800 or 900 out a small supercharger LIKE: $1000 to $1500 in extra pulleys 10 inch wide overdrive ect, $800 bigger heat exchanger, extra or bigger intercooler pump, some type of larger reservoir CUSTOM much dinero maybe even some american money, duel nozzle meth kit, e85, and snout and blower porting..

this is a good thread!

Yep it's like a 2 barrel carb on a 454 chevy.

Well hit the 1/8 mile track this past weekend and found out real quick power is not the issue. I spin the tires the whole way Down the track. I am running nitto 305/45/18 drag radials and they didnt help. Working out the bugs on the bmr drag suspension but at this point I am not too worried about more power until I get the car to be able to hook consistently

If you have anything over stock hp, Nittos are not the way to go. Bite the bullet and go with MT ET Street R 305/45x17.
