If anyone can answer this -
I plan on getting my torque converter installed by a friend at his shop to save money. Will my car thats just bolt ons only be driveable with a 4c converter installed? Getting the cam and tune done at a separate location

No..not at all. Dont do it. Get a remote tune FIRST with a baseline for all the parameters. Depending how far your tuner itll be a rough ride and probably stall a thousand times before you get there and push through the brakes the whole way

The phase tables have to be set, fuel taken out, idle adjusted etc etc. You risk damage.

Ha great to know! So basically I have to get it installed by the tuner then. Thanks for the info, never replaced a converter before.
