I can't tell you how much my phone has been through and my screen is still perfect and I have some dents on it and she still runs likes a champ. I just turn my backlight down pretty low and my battery lasts for a longggggggg while.

Ya, It's pretty expensive. The unlimited everything plan with 4 phones is almost 400.00 per month. Ouch!!!!!!!!

But the battery life for my iPhone is getting worse every month.

You all likely know this already, but if you turn off the WiFi the battery will last much longer....or it did with mine anyway.

Seriously. The WiFi is always trying to find a network so by turning it off the battery life increases by a ton. Hope it works for ya PQ

I have found turning off the 3G will conserve a lot of battery. With it off I can still talk to our exchange server and call and play tunes. I just turn it on when I browse.
how do you turn off the 3g i didnt know you could do that

Wink iphones are sorta my thing

So, if you're having issue with battery life with your phone, your best bet is a restore. The first thing you should do is sync data from the phone to your computer (contacts, calendar, photos and apps). Then do a restore in iTunes and SET UP AS A NEW DEVICE! then sync the data back to your phone. Your phone makes a backup file on your computer that contains OS files and a bunch of garbage in addition to your data that could be causing the phone to work when you're not asking it to. Also the screen brightness is one of the biggest killers of battery. I set mine to 1/3 and auto-brightness on. The other radios don't have as big of an effect on battery life. (I'm on wi-fi most of the time and bluetooth as well). In Settings => General => Usage you can see your usage times since the last full charge. Good way to know what the phone has really been doing. I have seen a fair number of phones with matching usage and standby times and that means the phone is working when it shouldn't be. I'm not pulling this out of my a$$, I'm a bit of a 'genius' with these sort of things... also, please don't 'reset' your phone by holding both buttons. or else

well i did not read all posts but as far as carrier's verizon is over priced. waht you want to make a call 69.99, o you want to receive calls also 10.99 you want it to work 29.99. over exaterated but they suck, att prices are good but phone options suck and service ok, sprint ok just plain sucks, t mobile prices are good and good phone options and service is ok.

now for the iphone. piece of shit, the camera sucks, battery life sucks, cant receive photo messages with out the upgrade, the new iphone with video record sucks. and they are also behined in features.

see i import my phones so i have internet nav radio email picture editing photo shop, geo tagging 12mp, video records in 720p second camera for video call when it is available in the US. touch screen flash and i mean bright flash. shit since 2006 i have had a phone with 3mp camera and flash with photo shop picture editing and some other cool features.

so yeah iphone sucks

As for the iphone sucks comments. As I said some people hate them but it's usually someone who is on another network in a contract and can't move. I use mine for business not taking artistic pics for publishing great works. Again, it has problems and I am a MS guy for over 15 years but the apps just add a whole new toolbox to my pocket that windows mobile, blackberry and palm have a lot of catching up to do.

I can generallygo 2 days without recharging. That's with a lot of 3G use.

As far as AT&T, no problems. I guess everyone can find something not to like about the big companies, but we've had good experiences with them and have for years. Could get a Verizon discount through work, but I've had too many cases where I have coverage and friends with Verizon can't make a call.

Haha we're using the corporate discount with Verizon. Saved us a buttload of money.
