How do you have an L99 in a 2016 Camaro?
Not a 16 in his profile pic... may be a typo.

Changed my oil. Should have been simple right?
Well, I pulled the drain plug and let the old oil flow out, decided to grab a beer and a smoke.
When I came back, I discovered my plastic oil drain tub had a crease and a small hole on bottom!
Had to clean up about a half a quart or more off the floor. Uhhhhhg!

Haha, could of been worse and had a river of oil running down the driveway.Reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine. He thought he would be a smartass and drain his oil at the local self serve carwash. After removing the plug he left it on the ground and then proceeded to wash his car and wouldn't you know he accidentally washed it into the drain. It served him right as it took him about 20 minutes to remove the grates on the floor and sift through all the other debris to find the plug.

Yesterday I spent some TLC time in the garage with my Camaro...about 38,000 miles.

- Drained and refilled the rear differential with Redline 75W-90.
- Drained and refilled the transmission with Redline D4 ATF.
- Changed fluid in clutch reservoir for the 3rd time since installing the reservoir.
- Cleaned ~1/2 quart of drained transmission fluid from the garage floor

Then I enjoyed a cold one while grilling some dinner!

Sadly...the last thing I did with my Camaro.... I traded her in for a new Silverado. It was time to grow up a bit and get ready for future stuff. Its been great everyone!! Thank you for all your posts and help and guidance. Be safe on those roads and do a burnout for me!

I hate to break the news to you but a pickup isn't growing up.It's a kindergarten toy.

If you really need to man up buy a Buick LaCrosse.

Installed a magnaflow catback ( part#15090 ) and a K&N edelbrock cold air intake for the supercharger. Sounds nice now!
