flat spots still there sounds like. different tires are worse then others. hopefully it's not permanent. swap some tires with some body. you could do just the fronts and see if it changes.

It should clear up When I was in the AF I would go on missions for two weeks and then they would turn into two months My car would shake for quite a while If I would get on the closest interstate and let it go for about fifty miles non stop and let them get warmed up a few times it would always go back to being smooth again Hopefully it will work out for you

Seems to me flat spots would shake all the time. He's only shaking in a specific speed range. My money's still on a thrown wheel weight.

Summer Tires with Flat Spots
I had experienced the very same issue with my Camaro. I live in Wisconsin so mine sits thru the 6 or 7 winter months. With only 7000 miles on mine I ended up replacing the two front tires due to flat spots. Now it is a totally different driving car...it's Fun again!

Simply enough,
Jack up car then hand spin the wheel Watch closely if the tire or wheel bounce |

Thanks for the the suggestions I haven't had a chance to get them balanced yet but I have a feeling I just need to drive it some more because it has gotten a little better.
I'll let you guys know what happens |

Yep you need to get them rebalanced. I have had a front end shake the same as the OP for probably 3 years. It only happens at certain speeds so it's annoying and I really do need to get it done. I'm paranoid about taking it to a tire shop because I have ground effects and they have a hard time getting the lift supports under my car without hitting the ground effects.

My flat spot showed up around if I remember right 25 to 45 mph. And that's after a week sitting. But clears up pretty fast after warming them up. My brand tires are invo. Over the winter time sitting it took longer to clear up the shaking. I had to drive more then one time.
Michelin tires i never had a problem. Look at the wheel weight location carefully And more likely all your weights are inboard. And since this is a recent Issue you should be able to see an old witness mark where the old wheel weight fell off possibly. Too bad you can't rotate tires these days front to rear if needed to see if there's any change in vibration. The tire size dilfferences doesn't make it possible.

My Camaro sits for 6 months every winter and no flat spots. It's a myth from the old days.
The reason vibration happens in the 50 to 70 mph range is that this is the range where tire revolutions match the resonant frequency of the mass-spring system consisting of the wheel and the suspension. This resonance can be excited by tire unbalance. Wheel weights are the first place to look. But I have also had two defective tires that do not respond even to road force balance. They were General tires and I am never buying that brand again. What tires do you have? |

Believe it or not tires are not perfectly round. Every single tire I have ever changed, including putting on brand new tires has some degree of radial variance. Only a machine designed to test road force variation can tell you if a tire has a flat spot or is out of round enough to cause a disturbance.
