All I want are the LMII mufflers, forget the rest. I'm not going FI so a 3" system is too big, I'd rather pay $300 to install a pair of LMII mufflers to replace the stockers. Then use the other money for Dynatech LTs.
Solo is 2.5" T-409 but it is a Cat-back not an Axle-back. That will get rid of the factory H-pipe and give you an X-pipe. Axle-back systems typically have no or very little hp increase. Cat-backs typically have 10+ rwhp increase due to the X-pipe.

I asked Solo about the 2.5" vs 3" and they said they felt a better system with the 2.5". I then asked MBRP and they said they found more power with the 3". The only difference is that Solo used the butt dyno but MBRP used an actual dyno and have a proven 20 rwhp gain.

Also....if you live in the Northen States the T-304 is recommended but in Southern States T-409 is fine. Although Solo (in NY) says they've had no issues using T-409.

Everyone do as they want....I'm going with MBRP....but the SLP LMII is a very nice system and I strongly considered it for a while. I just thought that I would let everyone know about the Solo since the GB their Cat-back is only $599 delivered. That's a really good price for what it is. You're only talking about a $60 difference between an Axle-back and a Cat-back. One is sound, the other is Sound + HP.

Also the loudmouth 2 has a little bit of highway drone at 70 mph, but I've gotten used to it. To be honest if I wasn't going to be putting on headers next week I'd have my muffler delete back on and tune out the dfco decel is pop. But don't get me wrong, the lm2 sounds freakin sweet!
I installed the Loudmouth IIs on the stock system and was pleased with the sound. I then installed American Racing long tube headers with X-pipe along with the Loudmouth IIs. The drone at 65-69mph is there so I just drive at 73-75mph and dont have an issue. If I find myself having to drive at 65-69mph I just down shift into 5th gear and it goes away. The AFM actually reduces the drone and I dont really find the AFM that annoying like some people do. All in all, it sounds bad ass and I like the whole set up.

How loud is it inside with your header/x-pipe/LMII setup?

I don't care... as long as I can hear my tunes

I have the ARH LT & pipe system connected to the stock mufflers and was considering the LMIIs. Was wondering if the LMIIs are a direct bolt up to the ARH LT & pipe system? Or was there any custom work, like adding short section of pipe or any welding?

Its not what I would call "loud" at all. Even the slight drone is not "Loud" its just at a volume that makes it noticeable and can interfear with a conversation. Turn the radio on and you can barely hear the exhaust at all.

Dont worry, You an hear your tunes just fine. I like my Rock music somewhere between loud and ear blasting anyway.

Cool man, thanks!

My daily driver before my Camaro was a 77 Chevy Silverado shortbed with a couple Super 40 mufflers... "drone" doesn't bother me - It's a part of life!

They definitely have a good price on their ebay store, but I noticed they say it does NOT delete the stock muffler. Could someone explain how it's louder if it still goes thru the stock muffler??
edit: nevermind, I see on zz's site he IS running different muffers in the pic he shows.

I have the same question just ordered ARH and want to order loudmouth II. You can also get them with square tip to fit ground effects!

A cut off saw and some basic tools is all you need. the ARH and LoudMouthII kits where complete and a snap to fit together. No custom welding or machine work needed.
