That video was awesome! I've been telling my V8-loving coworkers and buddies that there will be a day when the LLT-based Camaro will be revered like Supras and Grand Nationals. Once this setup gets to market, I'll be formulating a way to make it happen with mine for sure.

nothing against you buddy but this engine will never be a 2zz supra or a 300zx turbo or a zr1...those engines are forged for boost...crank, rods, pistons...the llt is not...which doesnt mean it cant be built for boost or cant handle 6i or 7 pounds....but like a rb26dett or a sr20det forget it...a little 2.0l evo engine can handle MUCH more

most likely here will be the weak point:

•Aluminum pistons with floating wrist pins and oil squirters

These are going to be cast hypereutectic pistons... which means they are great general use type pistons... BUT they are going to have thin, brittle ring landings...

Funny thing, seems if there's a market for something the impossible always becomes a reality......

If you take the traction control off and put it in sport mode with the gear selector, it will do burnouts. Trust me on this.

if i didnt have pzeros in the back, i would be doing it all the time. This car lights it up! But then again any car with a manual tranny can do it. With the auto, could you just keep it in first gear and not let it upshift?

Still in development so I am not surprised there are not more details... In fact, i'm surprised they shared as much as they did this early on...
