It was significant enough that I came here to post about it lol. The way he pulled me before straight pipes was how I pulled him after straight pipes were reinstalled. With full-bolt ons, the aggressive cam, longtube headers and the tune this car has, the power to be gained from the higher exhaust flow was significant.

While I am confident I have longtube headers and ported heads, I am not sure whether I have cats or not, to be honest. While, yes, the car is significantly louder with straight pipes, the only way I'd know for sure is to either inspect myself or find the previous owner. In fact, I am still trying to find the previous owner to know exactly what was done to the engine because I should not be pulling a C7 the way I did. I'll take video and do some more runs in Mexico once my dash mount comes in so I can show everyone.

I am not one to be influenced by sound. Instead, I observe the feel of the car (it was wildly different dynamic at full throttle once the straight pipes were installed) and compared acceleration differences. The car felt like a different vehicle with the straight pipes on, and was easier to drive at full throttle due to what was most likely a power curve change as a result of the nature of straight pipes. The fact that I pulled him when before he would walk me on every run we did was too significant to write off as anything else than power gain.

The results from these runs say otherwise, friend.
With full bolt-ons, aggressive cam, longtubes and ported heads plus a custom 93 tune that involved straight pipes in the equation, my car stood to gain significant HP by removing the stock exhaust and putting the straight pipes back on.

You could verify what you felt with dyno testing, I would be interested to see exactly what is going on.
