Here's what I want to know: Who sends a Camaro to a photo shoot with cracks in its front end?

Maybe the problem is only with the SS fascia and the V6 one is fine so they will just give the remaining lucky buyers the V6 front ends and call it a day. Or they could just ship without a front end like they shipped without dash ABL.

Of course they would have. And, just as likely, they would have looong ago noticed that the brakes had an issue with squealing and devloped a proper fix for that before production cars hit the road as well.

I previously worked in the auto industry, and for some time with prototypes, and I can tell you that every soul in the business dreams of the day where it is anything like as simple, as quick, or as easy as your post indicates.

i see the problem though the nose it dipped down too far and catching the wind HARD. reinforcements in that area might do it some good. umm they should have made the bumper a little thicker no?

How do we ACTUALLY know how this cracked. Maybe some 350 pound guy sat on the front of the car and cracked it.

The same group did the drag testing the day before.

Hmm i have a cool question, first off i doubt people that currently own the camaro want their bumpers cracked so why would they even try to see if this happens to them? second how are you going to explain to GM that you were going 155mph? would they honor that kind of claim? i really dont see people trying to see and purposely mess up their bumper trying this... it is sad that it would happen though.

how the heck are they going to replace/paint bumpers on all the cars? some of you guys act like these guys are making it up. everytime someone goes wrong with the car a bunch of you guys jump and say they are lying as if nothing can really go wrong with a new car? get a grip this is reality. no a fat guy didnt sit on the car and no it did not hit anything. u guys dont accept anything lol

The damage would probably look different if a fat guy sat on it or it hit something.

well this is the first time this has been seen...so a fitting might have been wrong...and there is a good chance that something random did happen to this car..not saying that it did...but you can't say that it didn't either..

You don't have to mention anything about going 155mph or anything about exceeding the speed limit. The bumper just cracked over time...

i think for the fat guy thing to be plausible it would have to be a fat guy lifting the nose of the car up while another fat guy sat on the lower portion of the bumper, note the direction of the cracks it's obvious it was lifted by the wind, and or someone tryed to pick the car up by the nose.. (theres a new one for you lol)
