600 or more is just nuts. I don't know that you could dial the chassis, or put enough rubber under these things to use it in anything other than a freeway roll.

Big Dyno numbers are addicting though, even if I get walked from a red light by a FWD 160 hp car. Especially on a cold, damp night. Sure, a block later, I'll go by like a flash, but in the old impromptu stoplight battles that last just through the intersection, I wonder if a AWD wagon of some sort isnt' the answer.

Those damn Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8's launch like nothing I've ever seen! Sure from a fast roll, you walk them hard. But, be careful should you come across one from a dig.

It's amazing the theoretical 60' times they could get... on any street surface.

If I warm up tires I can get 2nd to hook sometimes on street..
I have 610 to the wheels last time dyno
I've only raced SRT8 from roll but have seen a SRT500 or 600 (hennessey I think) launch on street.. crazy take off on street..
I had srt4 before with 450wHP so this car on 315's is way more useable

Thought I would drop this little update in here;

Ran the local Test & Tune at Famoso Raceway last night. Not bad for a "So-So" prepped busy event out here on an unusually hot and humid SoCal night.

Going to pop the other wheels on out back today and will hit Willow Springs for some road racy action tomorrow!

unless he's running tons of boost on a stock block (which would be idiotic) I don't think he can be hitting those numbering without SOMETHING done to the motor...

Id be very surprised if nothing is forged on that motor..
