My apologies Mace... I meant no disrespect. You have a lot of great products out for our sister cars. I'd love to see some of that other stuff for the Camaro as well. I'm really glad to see our V6 getting the attention it deserves.

raising the manifold doesn't allow for the engine cover to reuse the mounting post for the engine cover as well as the oil fill tube. not sure how tight the fit would be if all those points could be adjusted, im sure it would fit but probaby make contact with the hood liner too.

Is anyone running a strut brace with the 25mm? If so, who's?

I'm not, but this thread has a lot of good info. I doubt that current products allow for the height increase of the IM. Good luck...

I don't think a strut brace should cause that much of a problem. The manifold is only being raised an inch, most of these braces have plenty of clearance over the manifold.

The concern with the engine cover is because the mounting post of the cover isn't that high and neither will the engine oil cap will screw on if you try to use the cover.

I had a few guys ask me about the strut braces before but to be honest I don't think it will work. If someone can post a pic of their strut brace showing the highest point from a leveled pov we can be 100%

I think it can work if you don't use the engine cover....

Here's the GM brace....

And here is the BMR....

I believe both of these have plenty of clearance underneath once you don't use the cover for the 25 mm raise. I have seen the Pfadt brace, and it is definitely tall enough to have room.

Well that is great news I cn easily make post extensions and I think is could use Tracy's breather rather than the stock oil cap. Might hide under the engine cover some but I would be ok with that.

Could anyone with the 25mm spacer please set their stock engine cover in place and check hood clearance? Maybe lay down some towels to crib it in place on top of the intake to simulate the posts being extended.

Thanks guys.
