What did I misread? Lights are the last things to be put on. They must be tested extensively for leaking, etc in a remote lab. Not on the car...I don't see how headlights/rear lights would be exlusive from each other in that way...that's just mho, of course though.

So between the shark fin antenna, rear vents ("gills"), and the blue-ish gray color I am considering, my fiancee has already named my future Camaro Bruce, as in the shark from Finding Nemo. Thanks a lot GM, for giving her even more ammunition in her never ending quest to name every inanimate object we own.

Looking good. I'd prefer 18s instead of 20 inch rims actually. Much less unsprung weight. 20's are show, I'm more interested in Go. Not to mention replacement tires are alot cheaper.

Going to be hard seeing these on the road for a couple of years before I can get one. If I keep my current car any less than 5 years the wife will probably kill me.

I like the car MUCH better in black, but I have to say I am REALLY NOT a big fan of the head light arrangement this car had. I liked it better with the larger sized main headlights. I sure hope they haven't settled on this arrangement. Also, can you say 1" drop kit. This car screams for it. I really did like the back end though, the tail lights look killer.

I'm sorry for the little rant, it just seems like in the enthusiasm of this car, some people are just nitpicking the sheet out of this car. It's not done yet, so let the people in charge friggin' finish it and support them. This constant inundation of complaints and critisism would be enough for me not to offer information as Father and Camero continue to try to do. Give 'em a brake, enjoy the d@mn pictures, thank the community members for finding these images, and relax. IT'S A PROTOTYPE!

Sorry...
Lat time I checked, this is part of the reason this forum is here. To discuss what are seeing/hearing, and make observations. I know these are test mules, however if something stands out, normal people will speak out and say there peace.

Yeah but you also must realize that this argument gets brought up over probably 100 times a day, everyday, every week, every month, and every year since the test mule has been shown. I agree with you on dropping it an inch, but for the love of God. :notheadlights:

For a while there I was worried about the cowl hood. I guess that I have no reason to worry since it's obviously there. The rims look like 18s. I'm just waiting for the production grill and headlights.

well, dont get your heart set on that color... while there might be a color similar to it, I believe that is the "exclusive" color for the ZR1... hopefully I'm wrong, though, because that would be a sweet color on the 5th gen

I get annoyed by complaints about the headlights and such too, and I've been harsh to a couple members in the past when dealing with it. but I think of it all in this way: the fact that half the problems we have are directly related to the car being a prototype is a really good sign. The other big things are gas cap, rear bumper, backup lights, vents, and B-pillar. Most of these items have been explained away using safety and/or cost. To me, that bodes extremely well for the car. All that really gets complained about is nit picky details. We will be happy with the way it looks, and we will be happy with how it performs, and we will be happy with the price. That doesn't leave much room for major complaints.

If you look closely at the pictures of the rear and front wheels...the tires indicate that wheels are 20 inches (like others have already pointed out)....rear having a width of 275 and the front having a width of 245. BUT if you were saying that they don't look like 20s and they look like 18s, I definitely agree with you. I don't think that 20 inch wheels look bad at all! Not only their size...but the actual wheels look PERFECT I LOVE THEM!
