Can you make changes through the internet to remove or reduce the torque management in the TCM for the transmission? With minor bolt ons, would I still be limited with my M6 transmission?
I didn't think the M6 had a TCM. Isn't the TCM only on an A6 camaro?

Vector tunes are real cool because they do not leave a water mark for a dealer to see u have a tune. Predator's are good also but mainly for Automatics as Dyno tunes are more usefull for Manual transmissions but also automatic friendly

Ted, can your tunes improve normal driving power vs. Diablo's WOT only tunes? Thanks,

Mav

Diablo Does a good job at finding what is available on a stock car, it is when you get in to modifications, i.e. any one of, cold air kit, headers, heads, cams, that you start needing custom tunes.

Ted.

I know that Ted. I have intake and soon full exhaust. I was just wondering if your tuning through the Preditor can tune the lower and middle bands instead of just WOT.

Thanks,
Mav

ON a Stock Vehicle other than torque management there is nothing left to be gained in regular driving.

unlike others, the diablo tunes are not WOT-only tunes... heh...

their tunes are both part-throttle and WOT, through the entire rpm range.... not just for WOT...

Maybe Mike at Diablo will chime in and let us know when that will be available.

Your products are registered you should recieve an email letting you know when it is available.

Ted.
Guys, Johan is finishing up the template for this new calibration. He had some 550+ parameters to map out to get this done, hence the reason it takes a bit of time once the cal is released by GM.

We hope to have it all tested and a new release with it added in by this time next week. I'd love to say it will happen sooner, but with the Holidays upon us, we are a little short handed around the office.

I will try to keep you guys up to date.

Thanks
Mike

That's not what was said earlier in this discussion. Not sure what page, but it was said that the tunes that come in the diablo from them are WOT only tunes.

That's why I asked the question of Ted that if he does a tune for a car with intake, full length headers and 3" exhaust, can the entire rpm band be tuned????? Because a custom dyno tune will tune the entire band. I'm looking for maximum power at all rpms, not just WOT.

Can I get some clarification on this from those a hell of alot smarter then me? Thanks,

Mav

That is why I responded, Diablo Does a good job at finding what is available on a stock car.

I should of added, in all driving situtations.

Ted.

Ted, and all....please forgive me,

Maybe I'm getting dumber in my old age, but intake, headers and 3" exhaust isn't stock. And, the diablo doesn't "find" anything does it? You tell it what to do when you input peramaters/tune? I'm still a bit confused.

I'm guessing your saying, in a round about way, that the Diablo will tune all parts of the rpm range. Lower, middle, upper and WOT?

I don't mean to speak for Ted but I think he is saying that the Diablo staff/techs find the power avialable for a stock car ver well. Then they save it into the predator tuner as the "performance tune".

And yes, all of the rpm range is tunable. I believe it is broken up into sections like 2000-3000rpm range, 3000-4000rpm rnage, etc. I forget how the actual rpm range in the groups.

If it breaks it into seperate rpm ranges, that is cool.

Thanks,
Mav
