Some of the tape didn't stick very well so I have overspray.. Ugh
The whole car is black with blue accents.. Hash marks, dash trim and door panels, interior light, brake calipers, engine highlights.. I even ordered a transparent royal blue shift ball for my "new to me" Barton short throw shifter I put in today. (Sadly, it'll be 3 weeks before they make it. They told me they've never made one like it before so it'll be one of a kind)
Next big thing planned is to have the Marine Corps emblem embroidered on the headrests..
Oh wel, one of these days it might be finished...

I don't think its possible to ever finish one of these. To many aftermarket parts but it is hard to get a one off part on a Camaro though so congrats on that, and thanks for your service BTW.

Keep up the good work and learning. Disclaimer though once you start tinkering its hard to stop. I'm going on 30 years of shade treeing now and don't begin to want too think of $$$ spent over the years and around 150 or so cars spent on. Lost count of that somewhere along the way too thank goodness.

I know it's all good, there are just so many car show here in the Atlanta area weekly I find myself trying to make my car get that #1 spot but I'm definitely enjoying learning about cars in general didn't have dad teach me these things, funny thing is my wife knows more about vehicles than I do, ole daddy's girl YouTube and this forum def helps me though. Money comes and goes so I know what you mean about not thinking about it, we can't take it with us......That's a lot of cars you've been though bet you are well verse in most areas, would probably learn a lot picking your brain......

Feel free to pick my brain anytime sir. However there are quite a few people in here with way more knowledge on the 5gens. This is only my third Camaro was a Pontiac guy for years but mainly all GM's over the years. Its amazing to see the advances over the years like from carburetors to the new DI engines.

Where did you get the blue interior light? I got one on Amazon and it looks more purple, like a blacklight.

Awesome! My father in law just said that today looking at the 5gen engine saying he is amazed how far these have come. He was born in 59, today's, well yesterday was his bday. He loves the new as well as the old same as I. Time to get some shut eye. Have an LS car show @Summit Racing in 9 hours just got done detailing the heavens into the car (see what I did there) hahah
