ford is currently working on a "plug and play" kit for the 5.0 for those of us that just want to drop it in our cars... maybe i will look into that.

Your best bet is to go FI and call it a day. Kenne Bell S/C and no 2011 GT will stand a chance for a long time.

I never saw one review that said the Mustang rides better than the Camaro. I'm not saying the Mustang has a terrible ride quality, but in the real world the Camaro has a noticeably better ride. The ride quality doesn't show up in the track numbers, that is why they go out of their way to complain about the solid axle.

Very respectable thread. How refreshing. Not one "yeah but the mustang is still ugly" comments. Are we finally growing up on here ,or Is it just that those guys haven't found the thread yet?

These are both great cars ,and both have good and bad things about them. Chevy and ford are doing what they need to keep us fools buying. For the chevy guys don't sweat it. Chevy isn't going to lay down and stop improving the camaro. This war will not stop until the government, oil prices, and the economy stop it for them. Remember the beginning of the seventies.

Incorrect. You now have the SLOWER car, which handles like a pig, and looks terrible.

And if you don't like the new taillights then I would suggest not racing any 2011 GT's.

I considered a new 11 GT and still like them. I think it`s good that ford got back into the game like chevy did last year. I think it`s splitting hairs in performance.... if you have 2 profesional drivers maybe the mustang for the win but "average Joe" could lose driving a vette against a good camaro or mustang driver. All in all it`s all good and no hate... 400 plus hp muscle cars FTW for everyone

p.s I think the camaro looks better..now that the mustang is faster hehe

It would be really funny if chevy makes a last minute change that gave them the edge again in 2011. Then fanboys like the ones investing this forum with their rubbish instead of being respectful like some of our mustang brothers would have very short lived fame.
