You know, I just really want that red/orange ambient lighting and I don't want the trim . . . I'd rather have the clear plastic they give you instead. Is there a way to get that?

Unfortunately, not for this model year. You'd have to get the whole package

And for the record, the standard Ambient lighting panels are more of a glossy gunmetal color. They aren't exactly clear.

Hmm . . . I guess it wouldn't be difficult to just order the standard lighting and then swap out the LED fixtures with red ones. I wonder what else lights up, so that way this won't be as complicated as I thought.

I just posted this in another thread:

BTW, here is an image (CGI, but still gives you some idea) of the standard ambient lighting (blue with the gunmetal panels) package. I think this is as good as we have for now.

Yes. Translucent plastic I believe is how it has been described.

i doubt you could see the lighting then... but if you don't have it, it won't be a problem

I have been checking out this site for quite some time. I'm very impressed with the amount of detail everyone has on the 2010 Camaro. I know it helped my dealer out a lot as well for ordering.

I'm getting the 2LT RS with the Exterior being Imperial Blue Metallic with Silver Ice Metallic stripes. Most details are slim about getting the Blue Interior Trim Lighting. Does anyone know if it can be ordered installed already on the Camaro or being that it's an accessory will it have to be put on after I get the car? Plus, I was reading about the Interior being a Gunmetal, while for the lighting I guess Blue LED's shining through?

If anyone could shed some light on this for me on which how I can order it that would be great. Thanks!
