cool, trims the front bottom OEM chin nicely. How long did it take to remove the front bumper?

Uh... well the first time it took me like 20 minutes to remove the thing completely. But, now, I bet I can do it in less than 10 minutes. You just have to know where all the bolts are. And also how to remove all the harness properly.

Since I'll be re-installing the splitter, I will most likely do a step by step picture tutorial =p Depending on my time though =p.

Well, the splitter is finally re-installed. Been driving it for a while now, and the silicone is working well =) I am satisfied with the install now. I got some pics posted on my blog. Feel free to check it out =D

What kind of silicone is recommended... looked it up and came up with about 10+ different kinds of silicone alone. Or would general trim adhesive do the same trick?

I don't like how the sides don't have clean lines, makes it look like it doesn't belong... IMO

I honestly would NOT recommend going with this chin splitter. I purchased it back in September for my V6 and had it professionally installed and installation was done just as the install instructions stated and the part did not stay on the camaro. The 3m tape did not seem like it was quality tape like the other products I have installed on vehicles that uses 3m tape and also the splitter was not a perfect mold and did not fit the contour of the bumper. I contacted Stillen about this and they refused to replace the chin splitter or allow me to return it for a refund. They blamed the installer for the part not staying on the camaro. In addition, because the splitter tape and cheap screws they include would not hold, when the passenger side of the splitter broke loose, it scratched my front bumper pretty badly.

Yeah, actually I gave the same review on my blog. That it is not worth the money and trouble. =p I ended up using Silicone, and it held fine. However, I was fed up with the design as well. I would have designed it similar to the splitters on the V8s. Heck, I wouldn't even mind if it had support rods so it would stay on!
