Two different 'types' of cars....

G35 is a luxury sports coupe
Camaro is a 'muscle' car...it's certainly not a car that anyone enthusiast would attach the 'luxury' moniker to..

Most non-sports car people would consider it a step down...and from a 'comfort' and/or 'luxury' standpoint...it is a step down.

I went from a 2004 BMW M3 to a 2010 SS and everyone including myself consider it a step up.

Step down: The only thing the g35 has on the camaro is a color nav screen.

Step up: Performance
maintenance cost
Exterior looks

How is a car 6 years younger, better looking, faster and more eye-catching a step down?
Maybe you will miss some of the nice interior luxuries of the infinity but...
