I'll definitely try it when mine comes in, although I already asked the dealer when I put in the order and they said they wouldn't honor the discounts. I guess I can order another one and wait again... just not sure if the wait starting over is worth $1300.

My dealer gave me the supplier discount on my vert. Saved about $1200 paid MSRP less the discount no mark up.

Have GM Supplier disc certificate in hand,just don't know if it will be honored here in Florida.Some cars have 4k markup,the salesman called it LMA,when I asked him what that was he said it was "Limited Availability".I wanted to show him the Camaro5 pic of the holding lot at the factory with a sea of convertibles.--If you want it NOW,you'll pay more,thats all there is to it.

Ya its up to the dealer. If not walk out. SS eric and some other dealers have convertibles for sale on thier lots now and they will ship them anywhear.MSRP or lower or walk out.

I was told when I ordered my vert (11/18/2010) that the discount applied and was given the order sheet at that time with the amount already discounted. I believe it was a little over $1,300.00.
