Thanks to a post on another forum...

It looks like the GM supplier discount may be on for the convertible.
If all goes well for me it will save me $1349.

Of course that will still depend on if the dealer will honor it.

I applied for and got my supplier discount authorization back in Jan when I ordered my vert, but the dealer told me there were no discounts of any kind.

I wonder if that's changed now?

The convertible had been excluded along with the Volt the last few times I looked. Now the vert at least can priced out on the site.

When I took delivery 10 Mar, GM wasn't allowing any discounts or incentives on the vert, but my dealer honored a $1,000 discount on his own. My final sales price was $900 under dealer invoice.

I am getting my dealer's only convertible allotment, so they would not honor the supplier discount. Buying at MSRP.

I had either the student discount or the supplier discount and the dealer wasn't honoring any discounts. I paid MSRP and they threw in my stripes & car cover for free to make up for it.

The Convertible has been included in all incentives w/ the exception of USAA since day 1!!! I know, because I've delivered quite a few and I did my homework so that my customers would taken care of

Not too many dealers are going to honor incentives when they have a line of buyers willing to pay full price or higher...

Some may honor the discounts, after they tack on a $5K mark up.

My dealer is accepting the USAA discount for $750.00 with no $5,000.00 markup, which is unusual for them since they had a reputation for price gouging. I'll take it.
