cmore, you can get in contact with Customer Assistance to have them work with your dealer to get the vehicle fixed. The dealership can get in contact with our Technical Assistance team to get repair instructions or documentation to help with diagnosing the vehicle. Either of these resources should help you and everyone else in getting your vehicles repaired. I hope that helps to explain their purpose a bit more.

I also had a problem with my usb connection not recognizing my ipod after about a month of use. Took it to the dealer, got a new PDIM and it's been fine since. I have a 2010 2SS/RS built in Jan. 2010.

Thanks for the info and help.

Since I have some little details, am planning on making an appointment with the dealer. They installed a software up date but it appears that I have the older module.

No I haven't yet. Been away at school, but when I get back I guess I'll stop by the dealer and see if they can do an update on it or something.

Took car to dealers today. They checked the software level and found it was the most recent. Gave a copy of the activity log on the usb and the tech is going to call gm to see what they recommend. Tech was in the middle of a major engine rebuild, so said he would get back with me by Monday. Which is ok with me as this is not a major issue.

Will post as I have addition information.

Update.
A little history
Went to dealer on 3/21 and they installed an software update.
Went to dealer on wed, 5/11 with log in hand. They asked me to come back in the afternoon which I did. Tech said that there were no software updates available. He would check with GM and get back with me Monday. Did not call so, Tue 5/17 went by dealers at 1423 and tech said he had not had enough time to contact GM. Gave him my cell # in addition to home #. Had left a copy of the trouble log with him on 5/11.
Its now may 21 at 1319 and he has yet to call me back.

Chevrolet Customer Svc, am tired of waiting. Would u like me to post or pm a copy of the trouble log? Or should I call the dealer and put pressure on him?

Thanks

Thanks

Talked to "Service Manager" this morning. He said he would check and call me back. Still no call.

Not holding my breath tho, as I got the same story on 5/11 and 5/17. But from a different person. Was kinda hoping for a call back today.

The issue with mine is that the display gets stuck on one song or goes blank, but the songs play fine. They play in alphabetical order and when I turn the car off or unplug the flash drive, it always re-starts where it left off. I want the display issue fixed. I am using a Sandisk Cruzer 2G and if I press and hold the menu button to see the HW/SW version nothing comes up. Just after about 5 seconds the LCD says 'Done'. Am I doing something wrong? Also, can I play Pandora from my DroidX thru the bluetooth? It is paired for phone use and works fine, but I see nothing in the menus for GM Music Connect. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear your dealership hasn't taken care of you yet. Hopefully they will be able to take care of you in short order to get you back out on the road and enjoying your vehicle with your tunes as well!

I called back a few minutes ago (they never did call me) and was able to pull some kinda of an answer from another service support person after the service manager kept me on hold for more than 5 minutes. He said he would check with the person who was to have called me back 2 weeks back, this was the same manager I talked with yesterday morning. The operator noticing that I was on hold, kept asking who I was waiting for and finally found a second service manager helper. Its a long story but now have a appointment for next Tuesday. I don't know what transpired behind the seines.

Will update as things progress.

Mine decided to stop listing artist and album info. Plus it just throws everything together randomly.
