The folks at Formula Kart ways did a great job with the event.

Thanks to Eric for setting the event up and thanks to our host Erin.

We had 18 CCFBG members and guests at the track today. We knew this was going to be a good time form the moment we got on the track. The Karts were all great and well prepared - - - - welllllll there was on that seemed to to still be in winter hibernation – more about that one later.

The laps were run in 2 groups of for 20 laps time trials 20 laps qualifying and 20 laps final race for the A and B groups.

Tony - this is where that issue of the Kart being in hibernation mode - after the slowest laps were recorded by three different drives this Kart was taken out of the line up. We know you would have done much better Tony's lap time were much better once he got into a good kart.




The Kart-ways staff did a great job of keeping us on track.



The staff had 2 comments for us. First they told us that they don't usually have to show the black flag in time trials, and second now that they have seen us if they see a Camaro in their review mirror they will pull over and make way! We all had great time at the track and then the CCFBG members headed to Apellebees for dinner and tall tales.

I was super bummed I got stuck at a team practice for the gym. Looks like a good time was had by all.
