CCFBG Go Karting Event Sat April 9th - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Whats up guys,

Were doing a Go karting event on april 9th.

We have about 15 people already but would any of you guys be interested in coming out?

here is the plan for the day based on 14 people.

$65 taxes included.

Formula Kartways in Brampton is the location of this great event.
We will post up all the details next week.

Notes:

With more than 7 drivers groups are formed.
In qualify, drivers compete for best lap time. The starting order of the next race is determined by lap times. (ie. Top 7 = Grp.1, Bottom 7=Grp.2) Points are awarded to the positions of the race. Additional points are awarded to the faster group. Lap times are also recorded in the race to determine the final race starting order dividing groups up using top and bottom times.

Please arrive on time at 1:30pm so we can get the payment out of the way before getting on the track at 2:00pm

Itinerary

1:30pm Arrival/ Registration / 1 yr Free Membership.

1:45pm Drivers meeting, introduction to basic rules

2:00pm Road Track

It will be based on a point system to make it fair for everyone, and no one can complain about getting a slow kart, you will get a couple cracks at it..

Formula will be supplying a first prize trophy.. AND CCFBG will be supplying MORE goodies

With this many laps.. Normally this would run 90.00/per person, but for our group (Much Thanks To LIVIO) it has been negotiated to $65.00 tax in!!

May not make it in time. I teach class from 11:30-12:30 in Richmond Hill and then have to shower and change before heading out. Plus I've only karted a few times and while I'm awesome at the circle track courses, road courses take me some time to get the flow for. And well, I'm a tad competitive lol!! Who knows, I may change my mind by the end of the week. I'll keep you all apprised.
