You should really look into upgrading your sub frame and differential bushings. Those will help a lot with launch control.

Pedders calls for pushing the top strut mounts toward the center before tightening. Coilovers anyway.

Don't know but I have the knock when I hit bumps. I'm hoping it's the adjuster extension that's a bit lose. I'm gonna tape it up and see.

But, ya, I pushed the top all the way in till it hit and centered the part that hit on the two inside bolts.

Good Info

I've been on the wall about getting scales for the shop, but you might have just twisted my arm.

Pretty sure that's a best practice if you don't have scales...

...and such an easy thing to do... the hardest part is putting the car on the lift. I would think they'd pay for themselves rather quickly..

Hey Mike -

Thanks for posting. That is great info for everyone here to really pay attention to. Having all the power in the world and the best components does no good if not tuned properly.

Wow. This is great info. When you adjusted them, did you push them back to the original fctory position, or did you adjust them to wherever until the scales read right?

I say this because this is not something I will do myself if I need a scale - I don't even know of anyone who has them unless the dealer does. But if all I have to do is be careful to put them in the factory position, then I'll get out my Sharpies and get er done.

It's been crazy at that shop with all the C5Fest work going on... kinda doubt it now... but you def need it.

Yep... I thought I went about all this the right way by getting the traction stuff before the power. Most probably won't notice until the power adders start...

We just put them back to stock position and it worked. I think the Pedders instructions is good advice too.. Push them all the way to the inside. Maybe they can come in and comment on it.

Mike, Kudos to you and Owen at ARD. Now I'm wondering if this would have fixed your one wheel burnout without the JRE posi mod?

It definitely would have made a difference, but I still needed the mod anyway...

Yeah... Owen was dead on when he suggested this.. I had my doubts, but always listen to the experts...
