The prices are locked in. It just says that they have had an increase, but it will not be reflected in your price.

So I'm good as long as I get in before the 16th? It seems like there was an early feb deadline I missed.

If this is correct and the date is not a typo, then anyone that placed an order after Feb 18th would have the price increase figured in on their deal.. and then that price is protected until March 16th.
My dealer confirmed the last line about the dealer credit when I talked to him a little while ago. So make sure he does not try to pass that increase on to you...That would just be extra money in HIS pocket...PS as far as I can tell it is only for the Automatic on the 1SS and 2SS, the one on the V6 models is a different transmission and has no price increase.

Chevrolet will announced revised 2010 model year prices for Camaro effective with vehicles produced on or after February 18, 2009. Model and option dealer discounts will be reduced. Dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly.
Sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows:
-Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase.
-GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one work day after the date of the price increase.
These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered.

Phew. I didn't order yet so I was bummed at paying more. I don't recall seeing this feb 18th deadline before, I only know about the March 16th one Scotty has talked about. I'm already busting the budget on a 1ss so I'd really like to avoid any more increases. I plan on the 6sp man so I'm ok with auto inc.

I guess I better get my order placed.

Not that I know of.

The file has too many conditional formats for earlier versions.

If I save it to 2003 it will not work proper as to all of the conditional formating it will just drop a lot of it off.
Sorry I tried to do it in 2003 and could not get it to work proper.

how does all of this affect supplier price?
as far as i know it was unpublished before the last invoice increase.
The invoice price increased about 1K on the 2SS... which means so did the supplier price.

So where exactly did this come from? Do dealerships have access to this info for them to see or for us to show them?
