detailer spray just cleans and dissipates, possibly with a small amount of residue. Spray WAX like Optimum spray wax from detailedimage.com is great for vinyl stripes, also a separate liquid sealant can help (the hand applied kind). Paste wax will just cake up, or u wont get close enough to stripes and leave paint unprotected next to it.
