You don't dig borla's sound or SLP's? I like the way SLP exhaust sounds over pretty much everything. You wouldn't happen to be able to take pics of your undercarriage would you? That way I can see how they have routed everything. Is there any drone to your exhaust, or snap crackle pop on a deceleration? Trying to avoid the back popping and droning.

3" catted x-pipes, but it steps down to 2.5 before the axle to hook up to the exhaust... I had Tick Performance do the work along with the header install. They didn't say they had any problems though. I've been meaning to jack up the car and put it on stands to can I see it and take some photos. Once I get around to it, I'll post up the pics.

Here are the links to exact parts I had installed:

Plz correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is the SLP Loudmouth is just basically a muffler delete, right? (So I've been told anyway...)

From experience, when your measuring drone- do it with the top UP... being from Florida, I was amazed at the lack of drone in my set up, after so many complaints id read... then one day I hit the hwy top-up- holy crap what a difference! 72-82 is UNBEARABLE, even to me!

Just an FYI... myself sound dumb, but if I didn't realize it, I'm sure someone else didn't as well...

Drago77, that is basically right. The SLP loudmouths are a delete in a sense. The design is a straight through design. There is not a muffler, but rather a expanded pipe type design. (best way I can explain it). The loudmouth II design is a little less dramatic than the Loudmouth I design. I was looking at the Powerflo mufflers with the SLP powerflow X-pipe. The powerflo mufflers have a very nice deep sound, but aren't extremely loud. They have a very full, rich, no raspy sound from what I have heard in person and on clips. The only thing I haven't been able to find is that setup on a vert with the x-pipe with or without headers (long or short). With all this, I think I am still going to go with the stainless works retro cat-back cause it has a really really nice sound to it.

Hey drago, you said in your other posts that you had zero drone... What happened hahaha. I

I had the Borla S-type catback with the X pipe. Everything fit once I added half inch spacers to the 2 tunnel braces underneath the car. The drone was pretty bad at low RPM's. I had the AFM tuned out which helped a lot. I then wanted to add the American Racing Headers and Hi Flo Cats. When I told them about my drone issues, they offered to put their exhaust on my car to see the difference. Oh Boy, what a difference. The headers amplify everything. Their x pipe is 3 inch compared to the Borla's 2.5 inch. You can actually hear the air flowing through the entire system before it blasts out the exhaust. The drone is now replaced with a calm revving until you hit the gas hard, then it explodes like a muscle car should. We have a local 5th gen Camaro club here in New York and many of the members have after market exhausts. I think by far my car has the best sound that suits both everyday calm driving and a great growl when you get on it. American Racing Headers also created this special brace for underneath the car that replaces the two existing braces and allows room for the 3 inch x pipe.

Not the sound I am looking for, but thats pretty cool you can hear the air flowing through them. Hopefully that doesn't resonate through the car though.
