After my Engine rebuild I had the same thing happen. Call Joey Granatelli at GMS and he should be able to help you cause he fixed mine. Something about the clutch pack not being able to handle the power. Know exactly what your feeling. Mine would accelerates fine till shifting between 2nd and 3rd and then it slips. After that than it shifts fine. Good Luck
