Thanks!! The video helped put alot!! Now the only problem is that the dealer sold me the wrong bulb!!

Just double checking,does the bulb come of the silver box or does the new bulb going to come with the silver box

wow, finally found the answer. i've been wanting to change the bulb on my RS headlights for a while, just wasn't able to find a thread on how to do it.

thanks 2SSRS !!! by the way, can we do the same thing to the halos? i mean, is there a bulb that lights up the halos?

what K is that stock bulb?

GM used 2 manufacturer so i don't know which one you have look on the back and see it has the name there, Did you get it off? it may be your ballast.

can you replace the original head light bulb of the RS for a HID bulb? i saw the video and the bulb looks similar to a HID bulb

Thats because it is an HID bulb

But what im saying is if i can change the bulbs for a 6k HID kit with ballasts and everything (for headlights on RS with halos)

If you want to drill in to your headlight you can, but why not get some higher K bulbs that work with out modding the headlights.
