Just a warning. I went through several different brands of LED lights for my interior and I was not satisfied with ANY of them. There just isnt enough light lumination with LED to fill the entire cab. I even slammed in a 10 LED bulb and it still wasnt bright enough to my expectations.

I ended up settling on a RED coloured energy effecient bulb (2pk) that I found at JB automotives and it costed only $6. The bulbs were twice as bright as the orginal bulbs that came with the car and has that cool red glow which looks amazing with my interior

Thought I would point that out to everyone.

EDIT: I replaced the trunk bulb using the 2nd red bulb in the pack.

I have my interior LEDs coming....
The stock lamp housing is horribly designed. I disassembled it and removed the chrome "reflector" piece, and it lit up the inside quite a bit, with the stock bulb!

Has anyone replaced the white taillamps with LEDs? I can not seem to figure out how to get to them to replace. I took the black plastic panel off in the top trunk area and can get to the brake lights fine but does not seem to be any way to get down to the white taillamps parallel to the right and left of the licenses plate.

PS Replaced by lic plate light with LEDs looks great but need to get the taillamps as well to finish it off right.

I havent replaced them, and probably wont. They arent on enough to matter, plus unless you get some really good and expensive LEDs, I doubt they'll be as bright (projection wise) as the stock ones. With tint, I need some good bright ones.

Any pics? And do you have a brand/model # for those bulbs? I don't have a JB Auto near me.

I am getting mine done next week. They have to remove the bumper. I am still trying to figure out what the bulb is as no one seems to know. I even had part dept at Chevy dealer look it up and they do not know either. On the plastic cover it says DOT R 10GM 1E. Anyone have any idea what bulb is in the reverse lights?

I installed the AAC style LEDs in my interior, trunk, and license plate frame and they are plenty bright for me. i got white so maybe other colors dont illuminate as well but they look crystal clear and awesome.

If you are looking for any interior bulbs or for your license plate I would definitly use oracle t10 bulbs. I installed them last night and they look amazing, I ordered them on eBay for pretty chep and they were well worth it. They also have a perfect amount of light almost too much. I will post pictures soon.

X Blackout

Do the T-10 LEDs just plug into the bulb socket or do you have to mount them ?

Yes - they just plug in to the existing socket.

Jsanot101 I replaced thosewith LEDs as well. When you take the socket out you will need a screw driver to detach the socket housing from the bulb housing.
