LED License Plate Bulbs - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Got some of my exterior LED bulbs in place today,
Some nice LED license plate bulbs. The change in color is very nice, and it is pretty bright.
The bulbs I used are these:

They work perfect, as our license plate light sockets come in at 45 degrees.

Sorry, didnt take a full before pic, but you know what yours looks like, and you can see the color difference in the one pic.

Just to make sure you are all aware, your local Checker Auto will have the LED bulbs to replace these. I picked up a set for $4.99. I was also able to find some amber LEDs there for the dome light. Those were $14.99 for two, so I have a spare.

Much cheaper than the ones you can order online.

The dome light and trunk light are T10 3 chip 5 LEDs which work best - any larger and you'll have fit itssues.

Replaced all the interior lights and the license plate bulbs with LED. I went with blue on the outside and orange in the interior. I cant wait for tonight, it should look sick!

I used the same LED lights for both interior lights and license plate lights. Two LEDs is more than bright enough thou I here some folks are going with 5 or even 10 if they want it very bright.

The license plate lights use the same mounts as the interior lights.
