I didn't care for all the comments on the bottom of the story. sorry guys had to go read the article and see what all the hub bub was about.

Okay, evidently the stupid bug bit me today....I have no idea what either thread is talking about.

If anyone wants to fill me (and hopefully some others so I don't have to be the only dumb one here) in, great, if not, then I'll just forget about it and go on blissfully ignorant, waiting for the production Camaro to come out.

There was a thread with some new LLN images of a mule camaro.

The thread was respectfully requested to be removed by LLN. And so the professional staff of Camaro5 obliged.

Make your own judgement on the actions of LLN and the Photographer.

I need to go back and fix that post about never wanting to go to LLN again. That was wrong of me and I hope everyone can understand why. LLN had NOTHING to do w/ this.

As you can pretty much tell from the other posts and the link provided.....

A photographer took pix of the Iver Camaro. That person/company supposedly "copywrited" them and sold them to leftlanenews. Apparently, when the pix were posted up on LLN, they were RIGHT CLICKED and SAVED. They were then reposted...I think...which is pretty much what happens ALL OVER THE INTERNET, right??? So, I suppose the "photographer" is looking out for the site that they sold them too.

And yeah...I bet cold, hard cash that they are all over the internet reposted w/in days...

Hmm.

I can't necessarily blame the photog in theory, but his actions are regrettable. Once it's on the internet it's public. Hence the wonderful addition of watermarking, if it's going to be everywhere might as well have the watermark for the owner of the photo so it's roots are traceable.

^Exactly...their freakin watermark is already on the pic. Sooooo....when we post up the pictures over here and it says " Leftlanenews.com" down the side of the car and "copywrite: Chris Doan for Brenda Priddy" on the bottom right, I mean....

IT'S NOT LIKE WE'VE ERASED THE WATERMARKS AND AREN"T GIVING CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! It's pretty freakin obvious who took the pictures and where they've been hosted. Plus, there's a nice long article that was linked to it too. Soooo....they still get the traffic and everyone gets their credit. Ugh...sad....
